Hiddenbed is a revolutionary desk and bed system created for saving you space! During the day, Hiddenbed is your office/study area/working table, but at night, transforms into a comfortable bed for you or a guest.

Not only is Hiddenbed’s conversion easy, you don’t even have to remove anything from the desktop either. Your computer, printer and even your cup of coffee can stay on the desk during the transition and it will not spill a drop!

It’s easy! Simply pull out Hiddenbed’s locking pins, then pull the handle. Your Hiddenbed will transform right before your eyes in about 3 seconds.

To transform the bed back to a desk, simply lift the bed from the middle and watch your bed disappear.

Not at all!!! The Hiddenbed desk remains perfectly still, even while transforming. You can leave almost anything you want on the desktop and it won’t move an inch.

Yes, the mattress remains in its place. There is also built in storage for your blankets and pillows as well!

Like it? They love it! It’s the coolest piece of furniture there is! And Hiddenbed transforms so easily, even children as young as 8 can easily change their own Hiddenbed.

Yes! Not only do all Hiddenbeds have safety locks to prevent “unwanted transformations”, but we construct each of our Hiddenbeds to meet commercial grade standards. We have installed our Hiddenbeds into School Dormitories, Rental Apartments, and other high traffic locations without any issues.

Apart from being a well made and practical piece of furniture available, the dual functionality of Hiddenbed makes it more affordable (and useful!) than traditional Murphy beds as well.

If you compare the cost of separately purchasing a bed and a desk, you’ll find that Hiddenbed is a very effective and affordable solution for your room. And that’s not even accounting for the added real estate in your room!

Yes, our Horizontal Hiddenbeds are fully self-standing, self-supporting pieces of furniture. However, we recommend attaching your Hiddenbed to the wall if your floors are not even.

Vertical Hiddenbeds, however. do have to be mounted to your wall at all times.

We’ve had many interesting opportunities to install Hiddenbeds in many unique places. These include Cruise Ships, RV’s, Gas Stations, and Balconies. Any place where you might need to spare sleeping space is a perfect spot for Hiddenbed.

Hiddenbed is ready to assemble out of the box and can be put together yourself. Although it is possible for one person to assemble a Hiddenbed on their own, we definitely recommend having a friend help you out.

Our trained staff can also provide professional installation services inside the Greater Toronto Area.

Assembly at home will take around 70 minutes.

About Us

BIOGRAPHY

THE BEGINNING OF A REVOLUTION

Our company was started back in 1979 by an engineer named Keith Marjadsingh, an immigrant from the island of Trinidad and Tobago. Back then we were known as Hammer Industries, a manufacturer of futon mattresses and frames. Through our innovative thinking and a focus on quality, we quickly grew to be the largest futon manufacturer in North America.

One day while browsing for new ideas, Keith came across this amazing piece of furniture known as The Hiddenbed. Using his own words, “Now THAT is cool!”. That same day, he contacted the inventor and was given direct permission to manufacture Hiddenbeds. Using what he learned creating his futon empire, Keith redesigned the Hiddenbed from top to bottom incorporating elements like Tongue-And-Groove construction, creating a whole new standard for quality.

Today, The Hiddenbed Factory produces one of the largest collections of space-savvy designs, ranging from Beds, Couches, Closets, and even Kitchens.
